Enforsys® Domestic Violence Training
This online course provides law enforcement officers with detailed information on domestic violence, and it identifies the steps that should be followed when responding to a domestic violence incident.

My contributions include research and needs assessment, content and theme development, storyboard design, audio scripting, graphics and animation specifications, and learning interactions.


Weight Watchers® and Merck® Weight Management Collaboration
This online course trains Merck's sales representatives on the benefits of Weight Watchers and the ways in which their programs align with doctors' recommendations.

My contributions include content and scenario development, storyboarding, audio scripting, and assessments.


Enforsys® Bloodborne Pathogens Training
This online course provides law enforcement officers with information on bloodborne pathogens such as HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, and it describes how to reduce the risk of infection by following safe work practices.

My contributions include research and needs assessment, content and theme development, storyboard design, audio scripting, graphics and animation specifications, and learning interactions.


Countrywide® Customer Experience
This online course is the first course in Countrywide's Customer Service curriculum. It introduces employees to critical customer service principles and concepts, and it covers important marketing strategies.

PepsiCo® Beverage Quality Training
This extensive online course contains modules that cover a wide variety PepsiCo's bottling plant operating procedures.

My contributions include needs assessment, task and content analysis, storyboard design, audio scripting, design specifications (including animation), prototype design, learning interactions, job aids, and certification tests.


Progressive® New Agent Training
This online course provides independent agents and brokers with introductory training on Progressive's ForAgentsOnly.com website, which includes quoting and transaction functionality.

Countrywide® WLD Privacy Compliance Training
This online course provides Countrywide employees with critical policy information regarding privacy.

My contributions include needs assessment, content analysis, storyboard design, audio scripting, learning interactions, test questions, and full course development.


PepsiCo® Trade Spending Compliance
This online course provides PepsiCo Sales Representatives with training on compliance issues, including procedures and consequences.

My contributions include theme development, needs assessment, task and content analysis, storyboard design, audio scripting, design specifications, learning interactions, and certification testing.


Countrywide® High-Risk Escalation
This online course uses scenarios and examples to train Countrywide employees on policies and procedures for handling and escalating high-risk situations.

Autodesk® Getting to 17: Selling the Value of Data Creation
This course takes a blended approach to providing resellers with instruction on Autodesk's software solutions for the manufacturing industry.

My contributions include needs assessment, content development, design of instructor-led training, and assesssments.


Progressive® Insurance Product Training
These online courses provide Progressive's agents and brokers with information on various products, such as Motorcycle and Boat policies, so that they may improve their selling processes.

My contributions include needs assessment, content analysis, storyboard design, audio scripting, design specifications, learning interactions, and test questions.


"College Student Readiness" Program
This disaster preparedness program was initiated by San Diego Health and Human services for incoming University and Community College freshman. The overall goal is to increase the number of students that create evacuation plans, emergency kits, and communications plans.

My contributions include instructional strategies, learning objectives, needs assessment, content analysis, and delivery methods (Email and Peer Distribution). I also designed and developed a double-sided, instructional job aid as a support tool for students.


Number Ordering: Fractions
This web-based tutorial serves to assist undergraduate students in the College of Education in passing the Math Placement Exam (Part LS), which is part of their credentialing process. It was created for Dr. Janet Bowers, Associate Professor of Mathematics at San Diego State University.

Crime and Society: A Comparitive Criminology Tour of the World
This website was created as a resource for Dr. Robert Winslow at San Diego State University.

My contributions include template design, web development, and graphic design.


Analogs in Music, Art, and Literature
This website was created as a presentation tool and student resource for Dr. David Ward-Steinmans's course at San Diego State University.

My contributions include template design, web development, and graphic editing.


My Story
A fun assignment in Dr. Robert Hoffman's course "Learning Environment Design" required students to 'invent' a new educational software program and/or hardware device.

I designed and developed this prototype, an interactive, voice-activated storybook for toddlers and young readers. Tasks included market research, concept development, interface design, grahpics, and usability testing.


Interweaving School and Media Literacies for Youth in the Digital Age
This article explores media literacy and the digitial divide. It was presented at the American Educational Research Association's 2004 Annual Meeting.

I co-authored the article with Dr. Minjuan Wang. My contributions include literature review, data collection and analysis, and presentation of results.


Memec® Quick Reference Guides
This set of of job aids was created for the Accounting Department as part of the end-user support strategy for global ERP system implementation.
